This is pretty old stuff so it's fun to read in the light of history of pistol and revolver shooting. There are many definitions and talk about the guns of the time and how to shoot and how to set up a range, etc., pretty much applicable to those days but mostly still applicable to our day. Most of the shooting is with revolvers so I guess that would be the big difference of today's gun books where most of what is written is about semi-auto handguns.Product details

This book is so old I found nothing of value in it. Don't waste your time with this title at all.
This book is a must have for anyone who is a shooter. Whether you shoot Bullseye, IDPA, Cowboy, or any other discipline, this book should be on your bookshelf (or ). Great tips on all topics.

I enjoyed reading this book from a historical standpoint. It provides a glimpse at what was considered state of the art in the early 20th century. Unfortunately, the value is diminished somewhat since the original illustrations are not included. ( version). This book is NOT a good resource for a new shooter trying to learn pistol skills, as it is mostly outdated info.
EXCELLENT, GOOD COMMON SENSE READ BEFORE SHOOTING.
This traces some of the history of "precision" shooting with handguns. What I find so interesting is that the techniques and expectations aren't that much different from current practice. Good shooting was and is the same.
